However, you may not be particularly out of shape.

While spot-reduction of fat is impossible, you can lose chest fat
with a balanced diet and a workout routine that focuses on your chest muscles. You don’t need a gym either. losing your man boobs
can be done from the comfort of your own home.

Step 1.

Eat a balanced, calorie-restricted diet. In order to lose fat,
you need to consume fewer calories than you burn.
this is known as a calorie deficit. The United States Department of Agriculture recommends that men should consume between 2,000 and 3,000 calories per day to maintain weight, depending on age
and activity levels. Start off at 2,500, measure your progress once
every week, and adjust your calorie intake as needed.

Step 2.

Base your diet around protein-rich foods, such as meat, fish,
eggs and dairy products, along with fruits and vegetables.
Charles Poliquin, owner of the Poliquin Performance Center,
advises that if you’re prone to carrying higher levels of body fat,
you should cut grains from your diet and focus on getting your carbs
from dark green and brightly colored vegetables, and low-sugar
fruits. Make sure that all the meals you eat at home adhere to these guidelines and are made from scratch. Try to prepare lunches and
snacks for work, so that you’re not tempted to break your diet.

Step 3.

Perform a full-body workout at home three times per week.
To lose fat from your chest you need to train your whole body,
as this burns a higher number of calories and helps to develop
a more balanced physique. Do three sets, of 10 each, of squats,
lunges, pushups, planks, reverse crunches and squat thrusts,
taking as little rest as possible between sets and exercises.
Once you find this relatively easy, increase to three sets of 15.

Step 4.

Do pushups every day. While this won’t spot-reduce fat from
your chest, it will help build the muscle underneath, giving it
more size and definition. Pavel Tsatsouline, strength coach
and author of “Power to the People: Russian Strength Training
Secrets for Every American” recommends that you perform a set
of push ups three or four times throughout the day,
stopping just short of failure and while your form is still perfect on each set.
Record your total number of push ups every day, and aim to increase this over time.

In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro receives many emails about man boobs and how they are self conscious about it. First, what type of man boobs do you have?

Gynecomastia is one cause.

It’s is a medical condition and affects males going through puberty. It can resolve itself, but it may develop into hard nodules. There’s also man boobs from guys who take testosterone causing a hormonal imbalance. Either case, surgery can be an option.

Hey, guys! Toby here with another one my series of workouts that are designed to eliminate those unsightly love handles, burn off some of that stubborn belly fat, and tone up your arms, and chest.

#1 – 1:59 – Close Grip Dumbbell Presses -3 sets x 12 reps, 30 seconds rest in between sets.

#2 – 2:58 – Decline Cable Flys – 3 sets x 12 reps, 30 seconds rest in between sets.

#3 – 3:38 – Incline Smith Machine Bench Presses: 3 sets x 12 reps, 30 seconds rest in between sets.

There you have it, fellas. Remember – focus on breathing and engaging the muscles in the area you want to work on. And, if you aren’t breaking a sweat, increase the reps or the number of sets you’re doing.

The terms are pretty silly, but it’s a legit problem for a lot of guys out there.

So, what is the best way to lose chest fat and get rid of man boobs for good?

The first step is in determining exactly what you’re dealing with, as “moobs” can be caused by 2 main issues: excess chest fat and gynecomastia or “gyno”.

Gyno is caused by a hormonal imbalance and leads to an increase in the glandular breast tissue itself. If your man boobs are a result of gyno, you’ll feel a hard mass that is concentrated around the nipple area, and they may also be a bit more puffy looking.

In this case, you’ll need to speak with your doctor as legit cases of gyno require surgical intervention to fully remove.

Most of the time though, man boobs are simply the result of excess chest fat that has accumulated over time.

In this case, the fat will be more distributed around the entire chest and you won’t have that firm lump-like mass beneath the nipple area.

To get rid of man boobs in this scenario, all it comes down to is a basic issue of fat loss. In order to lose chest, you just need to focus on losing fat from your entire body as a whole through proper training and nutrition.

Chest exercises like presses and flys will help you build the pec muscle from underneath, but strictly speaking there is no such thing as a “chest fat exercise”, since you can’t target fat loss from a specific area of the body.

The only way to lose chest fat and get rid of man boobs is to focus on lowering your overall body fat percentage as a whole. As you do that, you’ll lose fat from your entire body, and your “moobs” or “male breasts” will decrease as well.

Finally, if you have both a case of excess chest fat AND possibly gyno (but you aren’t sure), focus on fat loss first, and then once you’ve leaned down considerably you can re-assess from there to see if you do in fact have a legit case of gyno as well.
