Go home. I pput a blanket down on the floor so not to get it wet.
I used a old T shirt as a barrier between my skin and the ice. Otherwise you could get frostbite or other harmful side affects to the skin.
Then I applied the ice pack for about 45min.

Abdominal pain is a very common problem with varying degrees of discomfort and related symptoms. You may experience mild to severe pain in the right,left,upper and lower of the stomach or abdomen, stomach cramps, gas, nausea, diarrhea, bloating and vomiting. It can possibly causes by stomach gas. If your stomach is bothering you, try some of these steps to get rid of abdominal pain fast.


Ginger has antioxidant properties and anti-inflammatory properties that help regulate the process of digestion, in turn, reduce stomach pain. In addition, ginger helps reduce the production of free radicals and increase digestive juices and neutralize stomach acids.

Cut a medium sized fresh ginger root into thin slices.
Bring a pot of water to boil and add the ginger slices. Boil for three minutes then simmers for another five minutes.
Remove from heat, strain and add honey to taste.
Drinking ginger tea two or three times a day to relieve abdominal pain and improve digestion.


For a abdominal and stomach gas pain due to indigestion, fennel seeds can give quick relief as they have carminative, diuretic, to reduce pain and antimicrobial properties. Fennel seeds can give relief from other symptoms of indigestion such as gas and bloating, too.

Add a teaspoon of crushed fennel seeds in a cup of hot water and let stand for eight to 10 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool and strain. Add a little honey and drink slowly.
Alternatively, you can chew one or one and a half teaspoon of fennel seeds after a meal.


Chamomile can relieve stomach pain and relax muscles in the digestive tract. If your stomach pain is due to indigestion, chamomile is just right for you. It also has anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, and sedative properties.

Put a teaspoon of dried chamomile in a cup.
Pour the boiling water into the cup and cover.
Allow to soak for 15 minutes, strain and add lemon juice or honey according to taste.
Drink this two or three times a day.

Baking soda and lemon

As an alkali metal, baking soda restores the pH balance in the body and counteracts infections, therefore, helps getting rid of stomach pain and bloating and gas. Lemon is a good source of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that removes free radicals from the body and detoxifies it.

Add the lemon juice, a teaspoon of baking soda and a quarter teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water.
Drink immediately before the fizz disappears.
Use this remedy three times a day until your stomach pain is reduced.
Note: Do not use this medicine if you have high blood pressure or are on a low-sodium diet.


Mint can also reduce stomach pain. The antispasmodic effect of mint on the muscles in the digestive tract helps relieve pain caused by gas. Moreover, mint improves digestion process.

Two to three cups of mint tea can relieve a stomachache. To make the tea, add one teaspoon of dried to a cup of boiling water mint. Let stand for five to 10 minutes, strain and add a little honey. Alternatively, you can chew some fresh mint leaves occasionally for quick relief.

apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar helps treat stomach pains caused by gas or indigestion. Antibiotic nature of apple cider vinegar soothes the stomach and improves digestion.

Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water.
Add a tablespoon of honey.
Drink this solution every few hours until the stomachache is gone.
Note: If you do not have apple cider vinegar, you can try the regular vinegar.


Yogurt is good for the overall health of your stomach. In fact, yogurt with live cultures (good bacteria) improves digestion and relieves stomach pains due to indigestion. Mix two tablespoons of plain yogurt and a pinch of salt in a cup of water.
Add three tablespoons of juice fresh coriander leaves.
Finally, mix in one-half teaspoon of cardamom powder.
Drink this one hour after eating your meals to relieve a stomachache.
